About the Red Cross and Boblberg
Boblberg, in collaboration with the Red Cross, is an online citizen-to-citizen community that provides you, as a user, with a safe space to create new relationships and participate in communities across different interests and preferences. The platform is for everyone and aims to create secure conditions where users can enjoy social communities and interaction with others. Boblberg has entered into a partnership with the Red Cross, which means that there is joint data responsibility between Boblberg and the Red Cross. The collaboration creates new opportunities to offer you more relevant content, as well as present social activities tailored to you. It will strengthen the platform and create an expanded universe where you can find even greater diversity among both bubbles and users. General Terms and Conditions
Boblberg.dk can be used by all individuals aged 15 and above. By creating an account and accepting these terms, you confirm that you are at least 15 years old. Individuals under the age of 15 may gain access if consent has been given by a legal guardian. If you have questions regarding the guardian consent process, please contact support@boblberg.dk Associations that offer activities for or with children through Boblberg are required to obtain child protection certificates in accordance with applicable legislation. It is not permitted to impersonate another person. However, the use of pseudonyms is allowed. Inappropriate profile names or content will be removed and may result in suspension, or in severe cases, deletion of the profile. Boblberg is not intended for commercial purposes and may therefore not be used for the purchase or sale of goods or services between users. It is not permitted to advertise businesses, promote personal skills or paid services, or use the platform to search for housing and similar purposes. Associations may freely use Boblberg, provided that they comply with the above restrictions. Boblberg reserves the right, without prior notice, to edit or delete bubbles, messages, and profiles if deemed necessary. If your content has been changed or removed, and you believe you have not violated the terms, you may contact support. Boblberg also reserves the right to remove outbound links in bubbles and messages that refer to social media, including Facebook, which do not comply with data security principles.
No Dating on Boblberg
Boblberg is not intended for dating, flirting, or similar activities that may be perceived as seeking a boyfriend, girlfriend, partner, or date. The platform is solely for communities, activities, and friendships, and posts intended for dating are therefore not permitted. Posts seeking friendships or connections with the opposite sex will be assessed individually. If a post is deemed likely to be misunderstood as dating, flirting, or similar behavior, Boblberg reserves the right to delete it. If your content has been changed or removed, and you believe that you have not violated the terms, you may contact support.
Users information
All information entered on the platform or otherwise shared with us is treated confidentially. Disclosure to any third party may only take place in one of the following circumstances: • if required by an authority or court • if the information is clearly publicly available The information is used for statistics and analyses with the purpose of improving the platform, as well as developing and establishing functions and activities that enhance the ability to create relationships and communities. This information is processed solely in anonymised form.
Oplysninger i bubbles (posts)
As a user, you should be aware that bubbles (posts) are publicly accessible and can be viewed by other users, visitors to the platform, and search engines such as Google. Before sharing information about yourself in bubbles, we therefore recommend that you carefully consider whether it is information you wish to make available to others.
Information in Messages
Information in your private messages can only be viewed by you and the recipient. In addition, the Red Cross and Boblberg carry out screening of messages for the purpose of removing illegal behaviour (see further details below). The content may also be used to prepare anonymous statistics and analyses based on the information you share in private messages.
Consent to Screening
When you create a user account on Boblberg, you are asked to provide consent for the screening of personal data that you share in bubbles, association posts, group posts, or activities. This may include regular, confidential, and sensitive information. This consent is a prerequisite for being able to create content, as Boblberg must be able to remove content or behaviour that violates legislation or Boblberg’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. To communicate via private messages on Boblberg, you must also provide separate consent allowing Boblberg and the Red Cross to screen your messages. The purpose is to remove behaviour that does not comply with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as well as to prepare anonymous statistics and analyses. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the Settings menu on Boblberg.dk. If consent for screening for the purpose of removing illegal behaviour is withdrawn, all possibilities for interacting on the platform will cease.
Pictures
Boblberg disclaims all liability for uploaded photos being copied or used elsewhere. When you upload images, it is your responsibility to comply with copyright law. Boblberg reserves the right to remove images that do not comply with this legislation. It is not permitted to upload erotic images, nude photos, or images that may be perceived as overly provocative. The same applies to images containing offensive, racist, or criminal content. Uploading such photos may result in a warning or immediate deletion of the profile. Boblberg may, without further notice, delete photos that violate the rules for image uploads. In addition, Boblberg reserves the right to add an image to bubbles where one has not already been attached.
Harassment
Personal attacks, harassment, fraud, scams, racist statements, or any other behaviour that violates these terms or may be perceived as offensive towards other users will result in immediate deletion of the membership without notice.
Log files
All correspondence on Boblberg is stored in log files and may, in special cases, be used in connection with reports. In extreme cases, information may be disclosed to the police if deemed necessary. For the same reason, the IP address of each user is also stored. When you create a user on Boblberg, you accept that Boblberg and the Red Cross may contact you via the platform or at your associated email address. • Boblberg may send you relevant information about the platform, bubbles based on your profile, new features, and information about events in Denmark. • The Red Cross may send you information about activities aimed at creating relationships and communities between you and other people in similar situations. You can unsubscribe from communications from both Boblberg and the Red Cross at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of emails or by writing to support@boblberg.dk
Deletion of Membership
If you wish to delete your user account, you must send an email to support@boblberg.dk When your user account is deleted, all information and content will be permanently removed. It is therefore necessary to contact our support team before the deletion is completed, so that we can ensure you are fully informed of the consequences. Boblberg.dk reserves the right to delete profiles that do not comply with these terms, or that in any other way cause inconvenience to other users. Deletion may occur without prior notice.
Additional Terms
Boblberg and the Red Cross do not disclose member information. Disclosure may only take place in connection with a police report, where we are required to provide relevant information (e.g., IP addresses and log files) as well as other evidence related to the reported user. Boblberg is obligated to ensure the operation of the platform, but cannot be held liable for, for example, reduced performance, technical errors, or temporary operational disruptions. Such errors will, of course, be resolved as quickly as possible. The platform is designed to be compatible with the latest systems. Boblberg cannot be held responsible for errors caused by security settings, operating systems, or browser configurations/versions on users’ own devices if these deviate from the guidelines provided regarding the structure of the site. Boblberg offers support regarding the functionality of the platform to the extent possible based on the technical knowledge and resources available. We therefore cannot guarantee answers or solutions to all inquiries, but we aim to provide assistance to the extent that our staff has the capacity to do so.
Changes
Boblberg and the Red Cross may at any time expand or update these terms. In the event of changes, you are automatically covered by the updated conditions. We therefore recommend that you regularly stay informed about the terms in order to avoid violations. In the event of significant changes to the privacy policy, we will provide notice via a clear message on our websites or to the email address associated with your account.
