Looking for friends around Lyngby

Hi all,

I'm new here and looking for friends in the Lyngby-area 😊

I'm a 37 year old woman living in Lyngby with my husband and our cat.

Although I'm Danish, I'm writing in English because my husband (who is from India) doesn't speak Danish yet, and I'd like to make friends who are okay with English being the main language.

I'm a huge cat lover (but also don't mind dogs) and a big science nerd!

I love reading - especially non-fiction about everything from neuro-science and psychiatry to psychology, gut-health and everything in between. But I also enjoy fiction (big fan of Terry Pratchett).

I enjoy playing board games and being outside in nature. I also like to crochet, although I'm not very good at it 😅

We're expecting a daughter (our first) in January 2027, but I don't care whether you have kids or not, as long as you don't mind me being a future parent (I'd love to have friends where we can talk about things that don't necessarily have to do with kids). 😊

And then I'm neurodivegent, so it's definitely not a problem if you are too (of course you don't have to be neurodivegent for us to get along).
