Seeking other nerds who love to dive deep into the technical, human, and psychological aspects of all forms of storytelling (literary devices, cinematography, animation, subtext, dialogue)

Can you spend hours delving into and analyzing a scene from a TV show - how it made you feel and how you’d write it better?

Can you offer arguments and constructive criticism on story writing?

Can you talk about something you’re passionate about until the sun comes up?

I personally love writing literary fiction stories that focuses on the complex characters, their psychological profile and their character development, oftentime incorporate themes of mental illness, feminism, generational trauma, racism, and other forms of prejudice.

Do I do it well? Probably not, but I will still try my best and would love to have a friend where we can gush over stuff. However these topics don’t need to be your interest; any passionate ramblings will do.

I’m currently working on two bigger projects (both of which can, to some extent, be considered fantasy), although I usually write short stories set in our modern world.

I strive to achieve writing that’s just a fraction as condensed and detailed as ‘Good Will Hunting’, ‘Bojack Horseman’, ‘Green Dried Tomatoes’, ‘Lady Bird’, and ‘Chainsawman’.

You don’t need to have watched any of these, or even like them, even though they’re objectively the best the universe has ever created (Kidding, I’m an optimistic nihilist).

If you’ve read this whole long-ass novel, you deserve a medal.
