Looking for extended family 🪺

Are you someone with love to give and time to share? Are you missing out on children, grandchildren or cousins of your own? Perhaps we can fill the lonely gaps for each other?

We are an international family of four that has chosen to make Copenhagen our permanent home. Two happy affectionate little girls, age 4 and 8, enjoying Danish school and growing so fast. Two loving parents, grateful to be here but struggling to learn Danish and build new community for our little family.

We have sadly lost most of our extended family and the few relatives who remain are far away physically and emotionally. Could you perhaps be our surrogate grandparent, aunt, uncle, or cousins waiting to have fun together? We wait to embrace you.

Before having children we enjoyed cultural activities, film festivals, travelling, museums, theatre, restaurants and hosting dinner parties with friends. Nowadays we spend our time reading, cooking and playing together at home. We visit playgrounds, kid-friendly museums and when it’s warm we fly kites and play at the beach. The girls love crafting, books, singing even if they don’t know the words, dressing up in silly ways and cuddling up on the sofa for family movie watching.

Perhaps we could meet at a playground or café for a hot chocolate and coffee date to get to know each other? We are excited to hear from anyone looking to have a meaningful relationship with our family, to share in the little joys and trials of daily life and make memories together.

We believe love is love and a diversity of relationships enriches life immeasurably. We don’t want to raise our family in isolation and want our girls to experience more support and connection than the two of us alone can provide. We hope to find more people who would enjoy loving our girls, being loved by them and watching them grow into themselves. We hope this desire touches your heart. 💞
